Patience and adaptability. Being able to adapt activities to accommodate different levels of ability is essential in nurturing the inclusive environment in our care homes. It may take some residents more time to feel comfortable and confident getting involved, so patience is highly valuable.
Passionate about building relationships. Activities in the home are central to the lives of our residents, so we want people who can build strong, genuine and meaningful connections with them, their families and other staff at the home.
