At B&M Care, we offer apprenticeships across four levels, which are all recognised National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) in Health & Social Care:
It’s simple to start an apprenticeship in care. Entry requirements will depend on the level that you’d like to complete. A Level 3 NVQ will require GCSEs, and the advanced apprenticeships will require A-levels and sufficient experience. If you begin with no formal qualifications, there’s nothing stopping you from beginning at a Level 2 and exceeding onto Levels 4 and 5. The requirements for our apprenticeships mean that you must:

Your apprenticeship will be tailored to your personal development, and designed to ensure that you have a pathway to progression. All learning and assessments are built around your needs, aspirations and schedule.
We have designed our care home apprenticeships to be fully flexible. Our programmes are structured so that learning is split between the working environment and studying – in a classroom or online. This helps to create the right work-life balance that suits you and the residents we care for.
Support is always readily available through both a home’s management and staff teams, as well as Connect2Care – B&M Care’s apprenticeship partner. Our homes all have wellbeing support staff, who will be there for you if you ever need additional support.
We encourage the growth and development of our apprentices at B&M Care – we’re passionate about supporting career progression. When you have completed your apprenticeship, you will have a number of exciting options available to you. You can continue your studies through an apprenticeship at a higher level, or even go to university. You’ll also have the option of permanent employment with us at B&M Care after your apprenticeship is complete.
