Our wonderful team of Engagement Leads and Activities Officers are always running fun and exciting events, where more participants and helpers are always appreciated.

Chat with our residents

If you’re sociable and enjoy a natter, you can come and join us for tea and a chat with our residents. Many of our volunteers also come to our homes to provide entertainment in the form of various performances – whether it is singing, dancing, playing an instrument or something more unique. If you would like some experience in the hospitality sector, you can even volunteer in our kitchens with our wonderful Chefs and Kitchen Assistants.

There are so many other ways you can volunteer in a care home. To name some more options:

Guide a stretching or chair yoga session
Read a passage from a book
Host an arts and crafts class
Perform any talents you may have, such as singing, dancing, or playing an instrument
Basic assistance in eating, getting around or bringing drinks to residents
